Building Community

We at Birmingham Breadworks know how important community is. Breaking bread together is how we all share our lives with family and friends.

Also, as a local business, we try to support other local businesses. If we can get the same product or supply from a locally owned business, we will do that even it is a little more expensive. We do that because we know that those profits pay local employees, other local businesses, buy local houses, and support our city with tax dollars.

We have three main goals:

  1. Provide the best possible product.
  2. Provide a great place to work.
  3. Provide a place that our customers enjoy coming to.

Pilar and I are not spring chickens. We aren’t young idealists with boundless energy. We are just two people that want to make good bread and have fun doing it. If we can provide motivation for others to start a new, local business then that helps build the local community.

Local businesses that you can walk to, ride your bike to, or stop by on the way to work, feed the community. Everyone enjoys seeing a familiar face and we want to see yours down on 7th Ave South.

Come help us build our community!

Come break bread with us!

Come sit and enjoy something fresh, natural, and healthy that also tastes fantastic!

We look forward to meeting you.
